Statement of Corporate Social Responsibility

Since our 20th anniversary, we have been pursuing the principles encapsulated by the AMT of Social Responsibility to honor our commitments towards our stakeholders, community and planet. We have forged strategic partnerships to reduce our carbon footprint through every stage of operation and serve the public.

We have committed to reducing scope 1 and scope 2 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2021 base year, and to measure our scope 3 emissions. Our near-term target has been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

We are proud to have been recognized and certified for our green and social efforts, and we are energized more than ever to reduce our negative impact and drive positive change.

On World Environment Day 2023, Advanced Media joined the UAE Alliance for Climate Action (UACA), an alliance of stakeholders in the UAE convened by Emirates Nature- WWF and endorsed by the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment.

Advanced Media joined the UACA’s Road2.0 pilot program on Transport Day during COP28 with the goal to accelerate the transition to green road transport alternatives by integrating Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEVs). Partnership with DHL Express to use Sustainable Aviation Fuel

Advanced Media and DHL Express have partnered to reduce carbon emissions using DHL’s GoGreen Plus service. This service, part of DHL plan to reach net-zero emissions by 2050, allows Advanced Media to cut emissions by 30% through Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). DHL’s Sustainable Aviation Fuel, a renewable fuel sourced from sustainable materials, replaces traditional jet fuel to lower aviation carbon footprints and advance net-zero goals.

Combating Food Waste and Composting with The Waste Lab

Advanced Media has partnered with The Waste Lab, a women-owned, UAE-based, and impact-driven startup, to tackle the issues around food loss and waste and to raise awareness within the community together - through nature-based composting and repurposing solutions - for the benefit of the local soil, food and environment. Since 2023, Advanced Media has diverted 600 kg of food waste from landfill.

E-Recycling with Enviroserve

Since announcing the initiative on World Environment Day 2022, Advanced Media has collected and recycled over one tonne e-waste with the assistance of Enviroserve. E- waste is considered the fastest-growing waste stream in the world and 83 percent of electronic waste is not recycled.

Recycling with RECAPP

Advanced Media has partnered with RECAPP to spread sustainable awareness to the community and reinforce the company’s sustainable commitment by offsetting CO2 emissions. Special recycling boxes for plastic bottles and cans and paper have been provided by RECAPP to allow employees, suppliers and customers to segregate their recyclables (plastics bottles and aluminum cans and paper) efficiently and effectively.
